Farms here are either outdoor or mixed light and range from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet in canopy space. Hyampom is a remote community stretched along the South Fork Trinity River in a sun draped valley in western Trinity County. Hyampom has a population of about 240 full time residents. There is a post office, general store (with gasoline and propane and basic food staples), community center, restaurant and bar, veterinary services and even a small airport.

The closest town of any size is Hayfork (about a 40 minute drive) via Hyampom Road, and is your best bet for quick supplies. Weaverville is about 1.5 hours or Willow Creek is about the same. It's about 2.5 hours to the coast on Underwood Mountain Road which first empties out in Burnt Ranch.

Lower South Fork, Hyampom Road, Corral Bottom, St. Johns and the many forest service roads connected to them are where you'll find most property.
