Northern Trinity County consist of Trinity Center, Coffee Creek, Carrville and Covington Mill. These communities are situated along Hwy 3 North of Weaverville. Trinity Center has the largest population. Cannabis Properties don't go up often for sale in this area, but this varies from year to year.

There are outdoor farms in this area, but be sure to check with a cannabis consultant if considering commercial cannabis activities here. There has been some local opposition to cannabis activities here in the past, and there are “opt-out” or “no-grow” zones in both Coffee Creek and Trinity Center. County regulations are always changing.

There is potential in Northern Trinity for a dispensary or “Bud N Breakfast” style of cannabis tourism if Trinity County decides to lift the ban on retail storefronts throughout the county. The current restrictions will be under review here soon.

Marijuana Cultivation in Northern Trinity

Trinity Center sits at an elevation of nearly 2400 ft while Coffee Creek is situated above 3,000 ft in elevation. Winters can be long here and snow is abundant at times. Cannabis grows great here. When cultivating here choose short season cannabis genetics for best results.

The two largest communities here are separated by only 8 miles. Trinity Center sits at the end of the north branch of Trinity Lake. Lewiston is on the south end of the lake. Coffee Creek is located to the north at the confluence of Coffee Creek and the Upper Trinity River. There are back roads from Hwy 3 that will take you to the Salmon Mountains, Marble Mountain Wilderness, Russian Wilderness, the Mt Shasta area, and into Southern Oregon.

This is one of the most thriving areas for tourism throughout this expansive county, and recreational opportunities abound here. This area is the gateway to the Trinity Alps Wilderness area offering close access to the extensive trail system. There are a number of resorts in the area, Trinity Lake Marina, some small stores, campgrounds and restaurants.
